Ohio Republican Leadership disgraces the Republican Party
ORP Chair blatantly silences those critical of the leadership's inability to follow their own bylaws. The schism in the party widens as the Chair continues his unethical reign of tyranny.
STOMPING THE SWAMP
Actions speak louder than words - and the actions by the Ohio Republican State Central Committee are deafening. Clearly, their only goal is to cater to the whims of the chairman of the party - even when that means not following the organizations own rules.
When a party’s leaders become so disingenuous - it is clearly harming the credibility of the party. It is rather obvious that the chairman worked with Jim Simon, Alex Triantifilou, and Dave Johnson - to refer all resolutions holding the party accountable to their own bylaws - to committees that should have no bearing on their discussion.

COWARDICE/DECEIT/DISINGENUOUSNESS
There is no way that anyone could take the 12/03/2021 meeting of the Ohio Republican State Central Committee as being anything other than an attempt to silence those seeking to hold the committee accountable to its own bylaws.
After the committee had 10 days to review and discuss proposed resolutions to make the party act in a more ethical manner by adhering to their bylaws - all the resolutions were referred to committees - where anyone that disagreed with the chairman of the party were conveniently removed from their committee assignments prior to the meeting.
This video is an abbreviated version with addendums of the resolution and bylaws of the 12/03/21 meeting of the Ohio Republican State Central Committee.
While the establishment resisted all efforts for a roll call vote - that are clearly allowed for in Roberts rules of order and the ORP bylaws…..
….we nonetheless were able to identify all State Central Committee Members when there was a division of the house.
When asked to adopt a resolution to follow the bylaws by Laura Rosenberger and Melanie Leneghan that asks unendorsed candidates to return the money that was given to them in violation of the bylaws and to restore committee assignments - the members standing voted to refer the matter to a committee - a committee that has no standing to address the issue (the permanent rules and revision committee).
Those members seen standing - do not believe they have the ability to read and interpret the bylaws on their own and need a biased committee to make a decision for them. This is pure cowardice on display and only serves to devastate the State Central Committee’s credibility.
Notice in the video that the committee does not allow any discussion on the merits of the resolution - choosing to make a motion to refer to committee before any discussion has taken place. It is pure cowardice, it is advancing tyranny rather than having substantive discussions with those that may not agree with the way the party is being run. The purpose of State Central Committee meetings is to have difficult discussions on how the party is to be run. Purely and simply - this is a brazen example of the special interests silencing the will of Ohio Republicans.
Of those standing more than half are appointees, lobbyists, or have immediate family that are.

RESOLVE TO MAKE A CHANGE
ARE YOU FED UP WITH THE OHIO REPUBLICAN PARTY? ARE YOU CONSIDERING A THIRD PARTY? Don’t run from the fight - run towards the fight! When you leave the party in frustration you simply empower the special interests and liberals.
If you have had enough - it is time to start fighting for your party. It is time to fight smarter, not harder.
Too often the approach is taken that is likened to a bull in a China shop. Those angry with the party normally have no solutions and start making accusations and ad hominem attacks without knowing the lay of the land and the situation.
The best way to change the behavior of leadership is to run for the State Central Committee (aka - the board of Directors of the Ohio Republican Party)….. once we have enough people onboard - we can reform the party to better represent the will of Ohio Republicans.
