The Speech the Ohio Republican State Central Committee needs to Hear
The Republican State Central Committee is responsible for Ohio's problems - but can be responsible for Ohio's solutions.
The Romans had a long period of peace because they had secure borders, they had a tremendous military, they had a very affluent economy. Romans lived a lifestyle that was the envy of the known world.
The Roman Empire in its day was the most powerful, the most secure, the most affluent, and the most dominant nation on the face of the earth. Sound familiar? They were, in essence, the America of their day.
The Roman politicians, in an effort to drive the public to the left and right of an argument, unwittingly fomented such a hatred for each other that it became the downfall of their civilization.
What happened to the Roman empire is that they went into a slow decline cycle because, in their lap of luxury, they forgot what was important. One morning they woke up, and the people didn’t love their nation - they hated their government because of the corruption within their government and the bad actions of the politicians. The Romans began to lose respect for the law because the law was not ethical or honest. The law became to be made for the wealthy and the elite.
Where the people once had a love for their neighbor and an interest in the well-being of others - they became very self-consumed and they became very self-destructive in their anger and rage. It was as if they had become entangled in a Liliputian war. People became identified with the politicians they supported. The Romans destroyed themselves with the toxic inner turmoil that was created by their politicians and the special interests within their culture (those seeking to use the government to become wealthy or stay wealthy.) The gaming of the system and back door deals to make the wealthy - wealthier destroyed their civilization.
What happened to the Roman empire is what is happening to Ohio and to the nation.
For America, it was its Christian-based morality and humanity, education, and being ruled by the consent of the governed - that was supposed to be an improvement upon the Roman system of governance.
Today, we see fewer people with a Christian ethos and empty Churches. We see our schools failing and teachers teaching division and hate. We are seeing the special interests push out the people’s interests with money, marketing, and more rhetoric. Darkness is upon us and it is getting darker.
The Ohio Republican Party has forgotten what is important.
Don’t tell me how great Intel is when gambling, prostitution, and drug use are out of control.
Don’t tell me how great we are at building electric cars in Ohio when methamphetamines and opioids are killing more of Ohio’s young than all the wars Ohioans have fought in.
Don’t tell me the last decade in Ohio has been great under Republican rule - if it was, people would be flocking to Ohio. And yes, if Democrats were in control they would be many times worse.
I am tired of selecting the better of two evils. Like many Ohioans, I am tired of the bar set so low by the Republican party.
If elected as Chairman of the Republican party - I promise to put God and Family first and set an example of ethical behavior and transparency.
Phase 1
We will be a party that acts with ethics and integrity again.
We will be a party that does not endorse in primary races and does not put its thumb on the scales for a “selected” candidate.
We will develop a meaningful platform of fewer laws, fewer taxes, and less spending.
We will hold our politicians accountable for achieving platform goals and working for the people.
We need to clean up Ohio before we can attract diverse businesses and entrepreneurship. Our Party’s mission will be to clean up Ohio. Fewer drugs, less gambling, less prostitution and human trafficking, and less pornography.
The Republican Party is going to focus on taking back our schools and Universities and wiping out the liberal element within our schools.
The Republican Party will make school board races - partisan - races and actively participate in taking back our schools.
The Republican party will not be content to allow Democrats to rule Ohio’s largest cities and have the lion’s share of the Ohio budget.
We restore the free market.
Phase 2
We become a much more business-friendly state.
We ensure Ohioans that we have the safest and most secure elections platform in the world.
We close our primaries so that party hopping is eliminated.
Ohio becomes energy independent and leads the nation in low energy costs to consumers and businesses.
We become the national leader in low-cost healthcare.
We lead the nation in the least taxation per capita.
We lead the nation in the least amount of spending per capita.
We lead the nation in education and healthcare.
We end the two-party system in Ohio and open it up to true competition.
I need to remind every member of the State Central Committee that we are not winning when Ohioans aren’t winning.
We give the left a chance and call the Republican party into question when we don’t succeed. We don’t succeed when we don’t implement conservative policies that promote prosperity.
For far too long, the State Central Committee has been asleep at the wheel and the special interests have been doing the driving. I know criticism is hard to hear, and that is why most of the members of the State Central Committee do not want to hear this speech. This is why the former chairman has sought to demonize me and silence me. For if the party does what the people want and what is morally right - the special interests lose.
We must all learn to list to our critics and become better - it is the way we get a Better Ohio.
I want the true power of the party to be back in the hands of the people and that means putting the power back into the hands of the member of the State Central Committee. That means committee members are more hands-on and integral to the decisions of the party. That means less infighting and more building passion for the party.
I will work hand-in-hand with the State Central Committee to develop credible and beneficial bylaws with enough specificity that they cannot be interpreted in a multitude of different ways. I will also ensure that the books of the committee will be fully open for all members to observe and review.
Lastly, I support splitting the Chairman’s role into that of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. I do not see where a person that is hired by the party has any right to be a member of the State Central Committee. They were not elected by the people. It is most proper to divide these jobs so the CEO does not have to worry about the dynamics of the State Central Committee and focuses on what the State Central Committee wants the CEO to accomplish. The Chairman should preside over the party’s meetings, make the agenda, and be the spokesperson for the party. The CEO should run the day-to-day operations of the party.
If you are tired of selecting the better of two evils - I am here to give you a choice you can be proud of.
What the hell do you think you are? You’re not the republican party or nothing. You aren’t doing anything to try and make patriots feel like they are worthy of being in this country. Now you’re making us feel more at harm. I vote for you. I don’t vote for Democrats because they’re fucking retarded and insane. But none of you stand up for the ideals of the American patriot, nor do you stand up for the Christian values and morals that this country was founded upon. Do you think you’re going to get my respect in my money? Absolutely not. Why don’t you try doing your goddamn job instead of being swindled like everybody else at the stupid game we called politics. Until I see that you won’t be seeing a goddamn cenr from me. By.
